This is our first officially recorded activity, back in 2016. We were just 2 friends roaming in streets of Goripalayam, bunking classes. On that day, we found this young boy lying on platform looking scruffy and unkempt in his old clothes, so we went near him and asked if he had his lunch. We were sad to receive a negative reply, so we bought him lunch from a nearby restaurant and we asked him to wait there for 5 more minutes.

Then we went to a neighboring shop, and bought him a set of new clothes and helped him wear those.

These are the early stepping stones of Karuvarai Trust that has brought us here all the way. Though we express this with contentment, we still regret for leaving that boy there with only a set of dress. Now we receive more funds from several people, but at that point we had nothing more than 200 rupees. That was all we could do.
